Formed in 2017. Floral Detectives are an alternative rock band hailing from Darlington in the industrial Northeast of England. Powerful catchy guitar-driven tunes, with high-energy alternative rock and garage rock n roll sounds, are the Florals trademark. Featuring former Captain/Damned guitarist Kid Chaos who was a teenager at the time but learned the ropes on the road with the punk rock legends.

The band has toured around the UK over the past four years and plays a summer and winter Scandinavian tour every year.

The band’s fanbase continues to grow due to great live shows and consistently good music releases that have received critical acclaim in the music/arts press. Their metrics show rapidly increasing global appeal, with a broad audience spanning all age groups, and the band’s tracks remain popular on rock radio stations.

November 2024 sees the band’s latest and most commercially accessible release ‘Insecurities’ hit the airwaves, and the band have hooked up with Manchester’s legendary PR agent Sean Crossey. The band is available for festivals, support slots and headline shows, as shown by their bi-annual Scandinavian headline tours.
